Session Description

Strong Inside, Confident Outside ages 6-9 Does your child sometimes become overwhelmed by big feelings, worry about mistakes, hold back from new experiences or struggle to speak up? Strong Inside, Confident Outside is an interactive six-week program that helps children build self-worth, emotional regulation, resilience and confidence through stories, games and creative activities. Your child will learn to: *Recognize their strengths and value what makes them unique *Understand big feelings and use calming tools *Replace “I can’t” with “I can learn and try” *Handle mistakes and disappointments *Take brave steps outside their comfort zone *Speak up, communicate their needs and navigate friendships *Set a goal and take small steps toward it The Six-Week Journey Week 1: The Power of Being Me Discovering strengths and celebrating individuality. Week 2: Big Feelings, Helpful Tools Recognizing emotions and calming the mind and body. Week 3: I Can Learn and Grow Developing a growth mindset about effort and mistakes. Week 4: Brave Steps Building confidence by trying new and challenging things. Week 5: My Voice Matters Speaking up, communicating needs and practising healthy boundaries. Week 6: Dreams Begin With Me Creating a meaningful goal and a plan to move toward it. Children will learn and connect in a warm, supportive environment where there is no pressure to be perfect. Program Details: Ages: 6–9 Time: Sundays, 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. Dates: September 20 and 27; October 4, 18 and 25; November 1 Format: Six interactive, two-hour sessions No class: October 11 Investment: $350 until August 31, 2026.
